Welcome to my website!

My name is Wim Werrelman and I am a professional wildlife photographer from The Netherlands. I really love to make photos and videos of our beautiful world, its people and its creatures. You will find a selection of my best work in the galleries of this website.

Would you like: a print of one of my photos, a fantastic guided photo safari to Zambia and/or Malawi, send me (nice) comments, ask me questions… Please head over to one of the other parts of this website.

(NEVER approach an elephant like this without proper guidance!)

When I am not out on a photography trip and/ or a safari I divide my time between my homes in Lusaka, Zambia and Senga Bay, Malawi.
I have been living in Malawi and Zambia for the last 5 years and have been traveling to Sub Sharan Africa for the last 25 years.

I love it here in Zambia and Malawi! The super friendly people, the landscape, the animals, the birds, the wide open spaces and skies….

In my photo galleries you will see that I also love the cold and deserted places on the north side of our planet: Norway, Iceland and Alaska.

My passion is to share the beauty of our spectacular planet with other people.
Some of my work was published and I won several awards with my photos.

I love to show my guests, friends and clients the most beautiful places, teach them how to make better use of their cameras and lenses and show them how to get the best end result using Photoshop.

I am the owner and managing director of Safari Beach Lodge, a beautiful ECO lodge in Senga Bay, Salima, Malawi.

Here you can watch a nice video of Safari Beach Lodge:

I use  Nikon cameras and lenses, a Gitzo tripod, a Wimberley or UniqBall tripod head, Adobe Photoshop CC and
an Apple Computer.
